Good stuff — your examples did a lot of the heavy lifting and really grounded the ideas. I think the part about avoiding common mistakes will save people a lot of wasted effort. Honestly refreshing to read something this clear and to the point on the subject. There's a clarity here that comes from doing the thing, not just reading about it. For a slightly different angle on the same idea, there's a bit more waiting at portalbridges.com.

This is super! I remember building your mother's guitar... I think it was called something else because it was a renaissance type. Never knew what happened to it. I have a cittern that George made and gave to me when he was closing shop. With much aloha! Ralph
